1 January 2002, Development of the Museolog Open source software for Museum Community launched in Central Asia.
Museolog software offers the following functions: Enables the creation of a record across several interactive sessions, with the possibility to save non-validated, incomplete records for future completion; Managing objects movements and restorationwork; Searching and selecting records; Printing records; Managing images (digital photographs); Saving and archiving the database; Exporting data; Managing thesauruses
The aim of the activity is to develop the Museolog software to promote it in Central Asia as digital catalogue management and access with further promotion to Asia and Pacific
